I bought two of these stands to hang hammock chairs that I had bought previously. They were easy to assemble and are very sturdy. Great purchase!

Horrible design.Should have a circular low profile foundation, because the four pieces of steel that support the frame are raised, sharp, and hazardous. I hate this purchase.

The stand appears very sturdy and I was able to put this together in less than 10 minutes. The legs are longer and come in my way of getting onto the hammock. Like few reviewers said, a fall could cause serious injury not from from above, but the sharp legs could seriously hurt anyone. I don't know why the designers did not consider a round base cover made of two half round shaped sturdy PVC pieces that can be easily snapped together on top of these metal legs - similar to most pedestal fans. The round base cover could use some shock absorbing material underneath, should anyone fall from the hammock chair on it and dampen the impact. It is an easy / cheap fix, but could save lives.

Love this for my hammock chair! It was easy to assemble and you can move it around.The metal is rusting after only a couple of days outside around the bottom and the screws.I'll have to spray something on it so it lasts longer.

Every easy to assemble. Not sure about the durability yet it says it holds up to 300 lb but it looks a little unstable when my husband sits on the chair hanging from it.

The provided snap hook conneting chair to stand should be a swevel connector. The with the provided snap, the chair tends to be perpendicular to the stand.
