Very compact but works well for GMRS use. The antenna has a lip on the bottom edge as well as an O-ring underneath to seal up the nmo connector very securely. The whip can be removed seperately from the base and it retains its IP rating when you do so. I haven't hooked up an SWR meter to it yet but I will update this review once I get the chance.
