Industrial strength lock you might see on a school or medical office building, so it's a dandy of a security piece. Batteries down below vs. having to remove the whole lock, like a Yale (which i love, too)... but we've had to replace it once already after about 2 years, and now, may have to again as the corrosion from the salt air is a bit too much for the buttons. I think we have about 6 months left and I'll have to switch to a Yale which does well out here. But I love this lock. OH!!!! Probably a good thing to note, it is a BEAST to assemble and install. I had to hire someone, and I've installed several Yale and Schlag locks on my own over the years. This is a doozy. Took an engineer friend about 4 hours. Had a Locksmith company do the first one in about 2 or so but he had installed many and had recommended this one as his favorite.
