I like everything about this fireplace. It looks beautiful, it works great, it as easy to install, it is just whT I wanted and expected it to be. So happy I got this one.

Very happy with this purchase. The whole unit logs, fire look almost real. The remote is easy to use and set up. Heat output decent. No noise. Very happy with it.

I got this for my wife for Christmas as starting a fire in the fireplace is a big deal and her because of our advanced ages. This installed in less than half hour and everything worked just like it was supposed to. The only catch was I couldn't find the lighted Ash mat which is supposed to sell with it according to the instructions. But you has to be ordered separately and nobody seems to have it. The company can't sell it directly and the places that they've had us check didn't have it. So maybe it's not even available anymore. That's my only bad thing to say about it. The fire looks so real and warms up the living room. We can recommend it to anyone that wants the advantages of a fireplace without the disadvantages.

Love these. Produces heat. Unlike a real fire, there is no smoke, no firewood mess (or cost or hassle), and I can turn this off and leave the house without any fire danger. I also bought Mseltos Fireplace Crackler Sound Box so that it looks, feels and sounds like a real fire. I live in Phoenix, but it still gets cold here at night. I am very happy!

Bought product in July 2022. Installed when remodel as complete in July 2023. Have had one year, used maybe a handful of times and no longer functional.

replaced non-vented gas logs. PERFECT. Can barely see screen - looks tremendous - highly recommend!

There's no snap and crackle of a real fire but it sure beats the smell of smoke or staring at a dusty, dirty fireplace. We really enjoy this insert. Worth every penny.

Makes a very realistic fireplace insert. I did a little trick with the edge of the plastic backing and made it disappear. Love it!

I agonized over buying this because of price. We were renovating a small cabin, looking for an electric heat source. This unit is 3 times as expensive as many electric fireplaces. I was drawn to the realistic looking logs and the promise of improved heat. In the end, we bit the bullet and spent the money. Oh Boy!...are we glad we did. Now that we are in the cabin and it is getting cold, this was a complete winner. Friends have mistaken it for a propane firewplace! It warms the area we had hoped for wonderfully! As the central focus of our main living area, it is beautiful and very functional. We highly recommend it!

The heat works, but We do not use it our den is too big. You have to get right up on it for the remote to work. The one in our motor home works from 15 feet. It looks great and other than the remote we love it. I do miss the real fire though.

This unit was advertised with the ash mat included at the price we paid, we did not receive the ash mat. Was this a mistake or false advertising?

Love this insert! The flame is very realistic and honestly that was my biggest concern. I bought it to go in our fire place before a holiday home showing. We got a TON of compliments on it.

This is one product that will always stand out as one of my best purchases ever. So easy to assemble, so realistic. Our great room is in the middle of the house so no issues with bright sunlight. I did find another use for a black Sharpie however. I was getting a laser like blinding flash when the unit was operating around the 10 to 11 o'clock position in the top edge of the plexiglass. A little black Sharpie, problem solved! Note: If the Dimplex engineers can't design a better functioning remote they should outsource that job.

I just moved into a senior apartment. It has a wood burning fireplace. This is a perfect easy insert. Unwrap and plug it in! Beautiful! Throws a little heat or not. Up to you. My husband and I LOVE it! We saw it in someone else's apartment and came right home and sent away for it!
