Equal to drivers costing much more. A bit of roll off on the high end but otherwise a fairly efficient speaker. Currently using it in a 1.1 cubic foot cabinet for bass guitar. Worked great for that.

The Fender Rumble 40 is a great practice bass amp and the speaker is the weak point. I upgraded with this PA255-8 and plugged the ports and the amp is killer! Volume went up, tone is smoother, lows are better and clarity is so much less muddy.
