If you remove a battery, the power supply must be plugged into the holder for the battery board to start working again when the battery or batteries are reinstalled. It has two USB ports that put out 2A of current for smart phones, tablets, and other 5 VDC devices. To make it even easier the LBB-5EB includes a 6-pin 8\" wiring harness that plugs directly into the battery board J5 socket.
