I purchased this single woofer to replace two RShack linaeum center channel 5.25 woofers. The one Dayton worked according to the calculations in winISD. The center channel now plays down to 30hz (strong roll off @45hz though). I bought another with the Dayton silk tweet DC28F-8 to build a new center. These play ok through 2k or so. Female vocals are muted with little definition. I am using them too high so it is to be expected. For the money they do quite well. The new design I am making has them crossed over at 2.5k. (currently at 4.5 k to protect old RShack tweet.)Pro: affordable, great bass in ported cabinet, good male vocals, rubber surroundCon: not made in USA, poor SQ above 2k
