The ball on this aftermarket part has to be depressed too far before the switch activates. What this means is that there is a very good chance that your transfer case will not be able to activate this switch...no matter what you do. In order to work, the ball must activate the switch with just a small amount of pressure. I ended up just cleaning up my original switch, getting it working again, and putting it back in.
