This is an acceptable item for the price. It is thin and quite delicate. However, it arrived in an envelope without any support and was bent and wrinkled.

It is easier to see the correct color value using this gray scale tool. I especially like the shaped area where you can hold the tool over a paint color. It allows you to see more clearly whether the value is correct on the paint color you mix. I gave these as gifts to students. I recommend all artists own one.

This is my standard go to Gray Scale card for determining value. I sure wish it was bigger, however, with more in between shades.

This card uses true black pigment which means it will create a true grayscale -NOT a grayscale that appears purplish.

It help with what I needed it for. It just was not what I expected it to be. I had ones from others that are metal or a more durable product then this one. This is a cardboard that will not last too long.

This is perfect for clear easy assistance when gray scale is needed while drawing/painting. I thought expensive for size (4"x6") card..arrived creased but very usable!
