These Champro softballs are more affordable but less durable than other options. I bought a dozen of these in June and used them for the last few weeks of the summer season and then for the past 2 months in fall ball. One of the balls has a large cut in the cover, and the cover has started to rip away from the seams. The others have a few minor nicks but are otherwise in pretty good shape. I don't understand why the one ball is practically falling apart, but it makes me question how long the rest will last. Then again, these balls cost less than many others, so it's a trade-off.

Daughter plays club softball at the 10U level. This is the ball she loves to hit! With her Easton Ghost Advanced bat this ball makes a really satisfying snap off the bat when hit well. We also have a bucket of leather cased balls that she will not use. She likes the sound and feedback that she gets from these when she connects. If this makes it more fun and keeps her practicing longer/more often then that's a winner for us. BTW... I completely agree with her. It does sound good when she connects!

These softballs are really good practice balls and take a lot of repetitive hits without breaking down, denting or splitting the leather. The price is on point too!
