I was looking for a way to mount a GoPro camera on my kayak higher than my terrier buddy so he wouldn't block the shots. This Scotty cam mount inserted in the 241 deck mount with a 6' extension arm worked perfectly. This camera mount also has an innumerable variety of angles it can be rotated.

using this attachment with a Nikon coolpix P900. Great product and been dealing with a problem since day 1. Problem is NOT pertaining to the product it's with my camera. The mounting hole in the bottom of the camera is not in the center where it should be to keep the camera balanced.

I haven't mounted this to my paddleboard yet, but I know this will work well. I used a stick-on mount previously that has since broken off. This is so awesome because I have several mounting options and multiple posts where I can connect.

It does come with a different way to mount, which involves drilling 2 holes in your kayak. I used that mount to mount it to my rail track and used washers to lock it into the rail. Works great. And, I didn't have to spend $15.00 on a rail track adapter.

Like all Scotty products, it just works. The ONLY thing that would make this product better would be a camera quick release. If you don't want that... then it's a 5 star product.

This will allow up to two cams to be mounted. I have one cam facing the front of my kayak and the other faces me when i am paddleing or fishing.
