My bf is a roman history buff and I purchased this for his birthday. He loves it!! Everything is designed well and the colosseum is amazing. My favorite part is that it has mini weapons embedded at the center of the pit!

Excellent chess set, the board and pieces have great detail. Very pleased with the purchase, delivery was quick with packaging that was very secure (board and pieces are encased in large pieces of styrofoam to reduce any damage). All pieces, board, and coliseum arrived is mint condition.

I have been eyeballing this chessboard for a very long time as the only thing that's kept me from purchasing it has been the price. We finally decided to pull the trigger and get it and wow am I incredibly happy I did. You get exactly what you pay for. What a beautiful chessboard. It's an incredible talking piece for guest and just cosmetically looks beautiful no matter where you put it. We honestly couldn't be happier with it and have fun playing with it all the time.

This was purchased as a Christmas present for my chess enthusiast. This is a heavy duty board, the base is a a beautiful recreation of the Roman Coliseum. The game pieces are each impressive, beautifully crafted.Although this set is a bit pricey, this is well worth every penny.You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Simply stunning. The build just screams class and quality. Heavy feel and looks amazing. Best, most beautiful set I've ever own. Do take note, this sucker is HEAVY. Not a great option for daily use. This is definitely for special games and for display.

Received the set, well packaged however, the glass game board does not seemed to be sized correctly. Appears to be almost an inch smaller overall. Will not even rest completely on the soft bumper supports as it is too small. Disappointing.
