My cement mixer from HF was running slower and slower to the point I actually had to help it spin which was a little sketchy. Eventually it would barely run at all. Some research online indicated that the motor itself seemed to be pretty good but that the capacitor on the motor seemed sketchy. The capacitor that came on the motor was plastic cased where this one is all metal and seems much more substantial. As with anything electrical make sure the specifications match EXACTLY - not just close. This capacitor did meet the original spec for capacitance and voltage. It is larger than the original one (a good thing IMHO) so I have to get creative with the mounting. At the end of it this capacitor got my HF mixer going again for not a lot of money. Of course perform proper diagnostics to ensure you have identified the fault before throwing parts at the problem.

It's a capacitor.... I saw a video on building a induction coil and bought the parts. This was one of the parts needed. I haven't completed the build yet but testing this seems it will do what it's supposed to do. There really isn't much more to say about it.
