My outdoor deck lights had a light sensor that broke. So annoying. Someone suggested just adding this inexpensive remote plug to solve my problem. Perfect solution! Good range on the remote, the box (at the plug) is a little bigger than I’d like, but to be expected for an all weather outdoor box that has to receive a RF signal. No, it isn’t pretty, but you aren’t buying it for its good looks!

Works fine unless you have more than one device you want to control, and you add another wifi remote. Then they will conflict and only one remote will work.

Incredible value. Only reason not 5 stars is because there have been a couple times where I have to hit the on/off button more than once to turn the outlet on/off (within range). HOWEVER, this would not stop me from buying it. If I ever need another remote outlet, I am buying the same exact one again.

I used this for my wall mounted patio fan and it worked great. The fan was mounted high so it made it easy to turn off and on.

My older remote controlled outlet died. I purchased this one as a replacement. It has a better range. Not sure the number of max range but for my application (through the double pane window and out about 50 feet) it works great.

I installed this remote switch in conjunction with a remote controller. It has only been a few weeks but so far it has worked flawlessly. If there are issues in the future I will revisit my review.
