The CAP Deluxe Utility Bench incorporates all of the necessary features and functions found on traditional weightlifting utility benches and incorporates additional features to take advantage of other training methods. Use the CAP Deluxe Utility Bench as a key component in dumbbell training routines. Perform a number of upper and lower body exercises while incorporating dumbbell use to hit goals and build / maintain muscle. This bench can also be used as the center piece for core exercises, and is great for leg lifts, crunches, twists and more. An industry first feature also allows the bench to be used with resistance tubes or bands to incorporate low impact resistance exercise alternatives to your exercise program (great for rehabilitation and senior strength building). For even more versatility add the Ultimate Power Cage (sold separately) to create the definitive home gym experience.

Definitely more sturdy than my prior Cap Strength bench, but as you can see in the pictures when you try to lay it flat the locking mechanism doesn’t fit properly. Not a huge deal since you’re just laying effectively on the bench itself but would be nice if it click together like it was supposed to.

Worth it for the price. Wish it had a better locking mechanism, cuz it shifts on you a lil bit. Not to an unsafe degree, unless you overdo it on weight.

Not much to say other than I'm pleased with my purchase and the bench is well made and sturdy. I could have purchased one of the cheaper benches but most of them look pretty flimsy IMO.

Hi,I recently bought a “Blue CAP Barbell deluxe utility weight bench” and noticed that the adjustable back rest of the bench does not align with the adjustment pin. The bench has a range of motion from flat to 90 vertical however, after assembling I can only get about 3 slots worth of incline before the pin does not align.Is there a way to adjust this easily besides having to unscrew and align the back rest every use?
