Mission: Provide compassionate shelter, care and adoption services for homeless and unwanted animals. Helps individuals and families find a pet that is an appropriate match for their household. Provides spay/neuter assistance, humane education programs and humane investigative advice and assistance to law enforcement agencies.
Programs: The society operated the second chance animal center which received and adopted animals, provided emergency assistance for animals, assisted in the spaying and neutering of animals, and provided humane investigative advice and assistance to law enforcement agencies.
the spay/neuter assistance program (s. N. A. P. ) provides low-cost spay/neuter services to qualified residents who live in specified service areas.
the society's humane education programs teach the proper care and treatment of animals to young and old alike through community presentations, shelter tours, summer camps and classroom presentations. The summer camps allow children to explore issues such as what pets need, how to keep them safe, and how kindness matters in all our relationships.
