I had to order this twice. :( My post office lost it the first time... Love love love most of this skirt though. The only thing I didn't like were some parts of the 'ruffle' were too long and didn't line up with the rest of the hemline for that layer. It made dancing difficult so I had to tie knots in different places, which made the skirt heavy. The fit was great, though.

This item fit as expected around the waist, however the material is not sewn well around the little plastic piece on the edges. I'm 5'4, 113lbs and the skirt was quite long on me as well.

It's a little to long for me and too full. I have to wear it above the waist.

This is a good beginner skirt for belly dancers. a bit too long though. I'm 5'4 and even on my tippy toes it's too long. So if your like 5'5 and up i think this would be good for you.

I really like the skirt but it's just too small. The quality of the work in how it's put together, however sizing is not true to description.

The skirt is as advertised being quite full. I am 5'2, 118 lbs. and the small is just a little big in the waist but it is long. I have to be careful not to step on the hem. The color is true to the picture. However, when it arrived (after the first mailing being lost during the shipping), it arrived crammed into a shipping envelope. The material had a faint chemical smell so I washed it in cold water on the delicated cycle and tumbled dried. It did not shrink and the chemical smell was gone but there is now some streaking in one part of the skirt. I was hoping to use this in performances, but now it is relegated to practice only.

I'm really short and when I purchased this there was only a size not so much the length listed. I ended up giving it to my friend who is 5'11''. I'm 4'11.

Sizing is off and there's no way this is made of chiffon (feels more like the stuff that goes under skirts--not netting but kind of like nylon in texture), but it'll work for practice. Open Tip tends to be slow in their shipping and getting the tracking number to you as well.

It didnt come with the belt! That made me confused and I thought I was purchasing the pic because ever color photo of this skirt has a different belt and i particular was at the black skirt or the pink skirt. and not getting the belt with the skirt which you dont sell the belt individually well let me say im happy i didnt get the pink skirt, that would had been to much. The flo of the skirt is beautiful, material polyester, wish it came with the belt the belt, dont get motivated by the belt, doesnt come with it and thats a huge bummer and makes the price without the belt a little steep

This skirt has a beautiful volume and elastic waist makes it a perfect fit. However, the support that give those ruffles the nice form started to come out... although I have only put it on 3 times.I wished if the belt in the picture was included with some reasonable pricing because the belt is more expensive than than the whole thing...

I had 2 issues with the item1. as soon as I took the skirt out the package it had this unbelievably strong stench of mold - as if it was in a wet basement for almost a year .2. i honestly don't think it's chiffon - very cheap material and should it's more of a $10 mrspDespite the horrid smell, I tried it on. I don't think it's too long (i'm about 5 feet)After spending an additional $25 to steam clean it and get every wrinkle out - it almost looks like the one the model is wearing in the image

The skirt is very full and wonderfully, wonderfully heavy. It really is a ton of skirt for the price and it's very well made. If you bought this anywhere else, it would be at *least* fifty bucks. If this was currently in style, stores like Banana Republic would charge hundreds of dollars and you'd kind of understand why: it's just gorgeously made. The only issue I have is that I bought this to wear on a regular basis - I didn't want a costume skirt. And was it not for the color (navy blue), I could've pulled that off. Unfortunately it's strangely shiny. If you're aiming to belly dance in this thing, the gauzy material would be totally sexy and mysterious in dim light, but in daylight it looks like the bottom of a fairly classy 80s prom dress - so it's better than what you'd find at a typical prom in the 80s, but it's still something you'd find almost exclusively in the 80s.Definitely a good buy if you're wanting to play dress up, but not something you'd wear casually.
