This is somewhat of a "luxury" item to have in your kitchen as it's a bit pricey, and not really needed. But it's SO nice to use when called for! I use it when cutting strips of dough into four rectangles for croissants. One pass and it's perfectly cut, even, and parallel with sharp sides. VERY study and well built tool...much better than I expected. Use the dishwasher to wash or you'll be all day trying to clean the little wheels! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't do a great job cutting focaccia bread, and sometimes thin strips (like pasta noodle cutting) stick to the wheels wind around them and make a mess.

I make sourdough discard crackers and this wheel scores them beautifully. There is no wobble at all with the wheel blades so I am glad I purchased this better cutter and not a cheap one. Well worth the cost in my opinion. It is a good weight and well made.

After researching this type of tool, I opted for the 4” wheels with hope it will cut through thicker bar cookies as well as rolled-out cookies. With the Ateco brand name, I expect it will hold up, and it does look to be a heavy duty tool. Being a bit pricey, I hope this will last for years.
