Takes longer to soften than maifun/angel hair rice noodles, but tastes similar and holds sauce well. A good purchase if you dont have an asian market nearby, being superior to the limited choices in most US supermarket chains. Glad I purchased.

Good and fresh

My family likes pasta, but wheat pastas can feel heavy. These rice noodles are delicious, soak up sauces well, and feel lighter on the stomach than wheat pastas. Each package feeds four plus leftovers. For the two of us, each package contains two, easily separated sections of rice noodles. We liked the first package of three so well that we subsequently bought two whole cases. NOTE: you soak them briefly in warm liquid. You do not boil them or they turn to mush. Read the directions if you have not used rice noodles before.

Good value!

One package can feed 4 hungry people. Half a package cooks in 2 minutes if you like your noodles al dente. Once cooked, drain and mix in the pan with Szechuan string beans and have yourselves a real treat just after mixing it all together a low heat.

Thinking about gluten-free? These rice noodles fit the bill. All you need to do is soak them for a few minutes in modestly hot water and enjoy them with anything from tomato sauce to olive oil. A good product.
