Love the fact that it has a loud click it's very audible. The material used feels like good quality the bonus part for me is i like mechanical items and dislike battery operated. I do recommend this.

I am pleased with how loud it can get. Be mindful, the speaker is on the back, so it will be muffled if you put it on a stand. The voice option is nice, but it only counts downbeats (no subdivisions orally saying 1 and 2 and) just 1..2..3all in all I like the size and build quality.

I have great difficulty getting the plastic cover off. Everything else works just fine. But that cover... ack! Initially I wasn't sure if I was doing it right, but watched some videos from those who reviewed this item and saw one that showed how to take it off. I hesitated putting it back on, but need to. We don't use it as much as we should because of this difficulty.

It seems like it keeps time, but it's not the most well built metronome I've ever used, and you'll have to be careful to not over wind it - but it's okay.

This metronome was great at first. Bought the middle of March. By middle of May it started not keeping consistent time. It would go steady, then speed up, then slow down. Not consistent. Very frustrating!!!

Cheap and you have to wind it up often, but that is what I paid for... even if it is cheap... it is working very well. really well

This Metronome will get the job done. You can adjust the beat and it is easy to operate, just wind, set the beat and play, The ticking is a bit loud, but you can also have it on silent as well. The best feature is it is black so it will go well with any color piano, and it is mechanical, so you do not need batteries.

This is exactly what I was wanting with one exception. It said that changes the sound of the beat/tick. I didn't find anywhere that clearly explains the it does not change every beat/tick. You can it to match your music time. If you have say 3 beats per measure than every third beat chimes instead of beat. If it said that in the instructions, I sure missed it. This is a handy feature for more advanced players, but for my beginning piano player this just served to be an extra frustration.The styling of this product was perfect for me thought. My home is over 100 yrs old as is my piano. Since my pianos original owner was my great grandma it was important to me that this piece match the older styles that I obviously enjoy. I look forward to having this for many years to come.
