Easy Access Foot Splint:
The Easy Access Foot Splint accommodates the bulkiest dressings with unlimited access to the foot and ankle to facilitate dressing changes. Clinical indications include burn management, healing wounds, surgical incisions, and other conditions that require unimpeded foot and ankle access. The stabilized leg rests on a wide leg trough with a heel cut-out that is affixed to a movable footplate. The foot trough and leg plate form a wide U-shaped base that stabilizes the foot in a neutral position and helps to limit hip rotation. Footplate locks at 20 degreesof plantarflexion or 5 degreesof dorsiflexion and can be securely positioned at other angles of plantar flexion or dorsiflexion by adjusting the bilateral straps. The heel cut-out protects against heel breakdown. Soft, 1-1/2" thick egg-crate liners attach with VELCRO brand strips and are easily replaced. Sizing: One size fits all adults.
