I got these for my street lantern. They are not as durable as I had hoped. They break often and have to be replaced more often than others in the past.

These work great - usually last a full year or more even in a Midwestern winter. They are getting increasingly harder to find in stores. Just replaced mine today and the gas lamp looks great.

For it's price i don't think it should only last one month, not sure what i did wrong but i did tried twice, now i need to seek for a cheaper one

I've been buying and using these mantles since 1985. I've had no problem with the company, the product, delivery, etc. The product was great, usually lasting several months before needing to be replaced. On the last few re-orders something had changed. Now, if they were lasting several WEEKS before needing to be replaced, I was lucky. Something has changed in their manufacturing. Maybe cheaper material, I don't know, but they begin degrading much faster than they used to. I waited after several re-orders before writing this. Too bad.....Not too many companies continue to make these (robust mantles) any more.

I used these on my outdoor gas lamp to replace a set of preformed mantles that only lasted a few months and to be honest, were very dim. These are nice and bright and hopefully will last a long time. I'm glad I bought two sets of them because I still haven't really mastered pre-burning them. The first one I turned to complete ash and they just fell apart. The second set though, I must have hit the magic spot and they worked fine.

I haven't actually used this one yet, I bought it to have in stock. I recently used the same product to replace a pair of really old mantles. The replacement was very easy and they look great.
