Depending on your pressure can launch nails out of the backside of the board for a long ways so be careful

the nail punch is lightweight, handle's nails larger than I expected and has no problem punching them right out of a 2x4. 2 thumbs up.

There's nothing more frustrating than having a perfectly good board with a bunch of nails sticking out. I've got numerous nail pullers, but they all require getting hold of the head, which can be very difficult.This device doesn't pull the nail out. What it does is slip over the protruding end and push it out the back. And the best part is that you can use the nose of the device to straighten the nails before pulling. Just slip it on as far as it will go, bend a little, and slip it on further.A note on safety: This device works like a reverse nail gun. Heavy nails in thick lumber like 2 x 4's aren't pushed all the way out, but smaller nails in thinner wood can actually shoot all the way out the back and fly around the area.

Works great. Has already saved me a lot of time. Works best on 3/4 boards, but still saves time on thicker boards.

It is light weight and pushes most of the nails all the way out. If it doesn't push then all the way out the first time, you pull the trigger again and it finishes the job. Really saves time as I have used it to bust pallets and push nails through 2x12s.

Bought this back in October but just now had the chance to use it and WOW what a difference this makes on tearing down pallets or just reclaiming wood. Every so often I would have one or two nails that didn't quite make it down 100 but just had to hit it again with the gun. This thing is worth every penny and I wish I would have bought it long before now with all of the pallets I have torn down.

This tool is absolutely amazing for removing nails from pallet boards. 90 of the time it shoots the nail totally out of the board. Just have to shoot the nail into something that will absorb the impact so it doesnt bounce back and hit you or fly out on the floor. I use a relatively tall cardboard box with sawdust in the bottom, inside of a trash bin, which works great. Using a couple boards on the top of the trash bin also serves as a work surface. I would highly recommend this tool for anyone who wants to easily remove nails from used lumber.

The unit is very lite and comfortable in the hand. Almost every nail backed out completely. Very few needed to be pulled by hand. Also worked well to tighten nails in the wood. Made short notice of 30 wood pallets. would recommend this tool to anyone who uses pallet wood for projects.

Did I “Need” this tool? No. However I wish I would have bought this along time ago. It is a very simple design and works very effectively. I have found the most effective way to push nails out was with the board over a bucket to shoot this into. While it does not shoot them out 100, I would say it is a good 80-90 depending what kind of angle or how damaged the nails are. The nails that still remain sticking out are easily pulled with fingers. This tool is a true time saver of you reuse a lot of wood or break down palllets. I have turned a few friends on this tool after seeing how great it works.
