Install went fairly easy following the directions. Only complaint is the strap that locks into tailgate locking mechanism is very hard to get into and I’ve only been able to lock one side.

The straps to secure the bed extender to the tailgate did not fit into the locks. Further, center supports slide which could cause failure. Need to drill holes on each side and bolt through bars to prevent sliding.

The directions or lack there of are vague. And the plastic holding it together is very cheap. The screws strip out the plastic very easily

Had my reservations about purchasing this product as the official website for this stated that I needed to add spacers if I had the factory bed cover which I do. After reading some reviews, I decided to take a chance. No regrets... Install took less than hour. The extender is very light and easy to flip in both directions. Best of all, I had plenty of room to work the hold down latches for my cover. The biggest pain as some others had stated, was to install the nut that holds the bracket. This gets installed behind the tail lights. If you have gorilla hands like me, plan on some band aides as part of your install (these should be included in the kit IMO).Anyway, I would recommend this product.

Install required some drilling into the bed of my truck but if you're mechanically inclined the template makes it easy. The functionality is awesome. It is easy to remove and easy to put back on the truck... Great design... For these 4 door trucks with very short beds this is an awesome addition
