This is by far the best charger/port available. I've purchased two of these now. One for me and my wife. We both love them. Seem a bit pricey but once you realized what it's capable of it's worth it and other brands are much pricier. I use this to support all my plug ins and powers two 4K external monitors all with just one plug (usb c) into for my MacBook Pro. Would definitely again. Sometimes you can find it at a decent discount too! Easy to mount under a desk also!

Everything is great in term of the build quality and ports. the issue I have is with the layout.USBA on 1 side and USB C on other. however the input is on the short side. the power on other hand is at USB C side. which has poor layout. would be perfect if the power is at the Input side and the power is replace with another USB C thunderbolt.

I had been looking at one of these for a couple of years. I run a recording studio and have a lot of peripherals plugged into my computer and need more ports. It recently came on sale so I took the plunge. The Good: Great looking, well thought-out, seemingly well-built, perfect layout of ports for me, compact (about the size of an iPhone). The Bad: Slow speeds when using external USB-C HD, massive power brick, TB connection on side of the hub.I have an NVME drive in a compact USB-C external enclosure. Plugged directly into my Mac Mini, I get about 900 850 mb/s read/ write speeds. Through the Elemet Hub (EH), I was getting about 350 mb/s. I contacted Caldigit and they said this was normal due to conversion from USB to TB. I regularly transfer large folders as was as streaming a lot of audio files and samples while mixing. While the 350 may have been fine, I didn't like the compromise as well as adding multiple HDs in the near future. Maybe buying a new TB enclosure vs the USB-C I currently have would have solved the issue, but that would be another $100 or so.I may buy it again in the future if my situation/ needs change.I think this is a very good hub and will be fantastic for a lot of people but just didn't quite work for me.

Great product for daisy chaining multiple 4k monitors to a M2 Mac without having to download additional software like DisplayLink

If you don't need too many ports, this would be a great deal over the CalDigit TS4, for me 3 extra Thunderbolt plus 4 USB-A ports are plenty.I have a Macbook 16 inch (M1 Max), hooked this dock up to my 1st extended display - Dell AW3423DWF (165 Hz), and a 2nd extended display (2K at 120 Hz), and they both run at their full refresh rate!

My company bought this for my workplace, and it's working really well. I really like the fact that the USB-C ports are all Thunderbolt ports!

Using this dock for my M2 MacBook Pro - no issues whatsoever. Using all 3 thunderbolt ports for various needs and 2 of the USB A ports so far. Also charging my laptop with passthrough. All works wel!

This hub meets my needs. It's a perfect size for my desk and has enough ports to connect monitors and other peripherals. It works well to charge my Mac and PC laptops and helps tame all the cables on my desk,
