The book I received was of course used, but in decent condition. Some pages were written on; however, for the price you're paying for the book it's expected. All in all, the price is write and the condition of the book isn't that terrible and all the pages are attached. Which means it can get me through the class and it's actually very interesting to read.

I am loving this book. I am currently studying ASL in college and this book has great insight into the deaf world and how life is different for deaf people. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to know more about deaf culture or just deaf people in general. Really opened my eyes.

Needed this book in college. Am now an ASL teacher at a High School. Have not referenced this book since. But do keep it and plan on referencing it at some point. It is long and not very interesting to high school students.

In this book I could learn about Deaf Culture in more depth. They show various examples/stories coming from Deaf people. The stuggles, the joys... It has some really good information in it, very educational.
