This was a gift for our granddaughter who just turned 1 and her Mommy and Daddy had already begun teaching her some signing.

We own all of these books and love working on fluency with our bilingual kiddo. Some of the signs are initialized (sadly), regional or antiquated. I want able to find out what the source is for the signs, whether a specific Deaf community member, a certain dictionary, or something else. I wish it was listed somewhere on the back cover.

The written explanation of how to do the signs aren't as descriptive as I would like in all cases but this is an adorable book. Bright and colorful. Good board-book quality. My 19 month old son likes it. I will buy more from their collection.

Great resource for learning to sign with your little one. Also works well for them to point at what they need using the books illustrations. Book is well made and pages are durable.
