I was looking for something that would be rugged over different surfaces. These have exceeded my expectations with being able to work somewhat easily even on my gravel driveway. I highly recommend.

I bought these for my diy battery rack. I have added almost 450lbs of battery weight this far. It's seems to be holding. Am hoping it holds the other 4..

There was a crate left behind by the previous owner of this house and I started to tear it up but had a thought about making it a portable workbench. These casters worked great. They roll very smoothly and each wheel has a brake. After putting a plywood sheet on top these casters have made a very nice roll around workbench

Overall I'm pleased with these. I used them on a mobile miter saw workstation I built for my shop, two lockable casters in the front and two regular swivel casters in the rear. I built the cabinet out of 23/32" (18mm) plywood, and the included bolts are only 1" (25mm) long, so I had to purchase my own hardware. If you're using thinner material, the bolts should work okay ... they're about 5/8" (8mm) diameter, so plenty stout.
