You would think such a concept of holding papers for typing would be so simple but not all paper stands are equal. I tried one of these on the job and liked it so much and decided I needed one for home. The price admittedly surprised me but it works so well I knew I had to get it anyway. This thing is designed well it even holds phones and other heavier items and when not holding anything I keep it on the desk is just as important as the monitor itself.

Strong and does the job. Can even accommodate my laptop. Reduces neck strain and wide enough for additional document and even books. I love this item.

Use it everyday, the little elastic piece to hold the papers won't really stay on, but I don't need it.

I love that this item is adjustable with the slant so that you can get a good angle for the documents to stay upright in the tray. Not to mention it does have a band to keep the documents upright in the tray as well. The width is perfect for those documents that are landscaped and are 8 1/2 x 11. Bought this for tax season and this is going to make life so much easier!

No more looking to the side or down to see my copy or trying to find my place. this works very well on the desk and doesn't intrude into the monitor sightline.

I had the larger version of this at my old job, unfortunately I never got it back. The larger one was substantially more sturdy. I actually thought that was the one I ordered again until it came. It does function for what I want though. I don't have a ton of space on my desk, so size-wise it is fine. I did not use the legs that came with it or the sticky pads, I need to be able to move it around some. The parts that hold the shield have rubber buttons on them so it does not slide around. I am not sure it is worth almost $40 though.
