This is very handy to have when camping. We cook with it and heat water with it. It has a good, sturdy base. It heats very quickly. It's easy to control the flame.

Works as advertised. provides stable platform to heat meals and boil water. Cools quickly for repacking. A little bigger then i like for backpacking so it gets 4 stars

This may not burn quite as hot as other burners, but you can find propane tanks in any hardware store. That's convenient.
