This lasted 22 months for me before it broke. Today, the nylon string attaching the vinyl strap to the retractor snapped. Other than that, it worked well at holding my ID badges and staying clipped to a belt loop at my waist.

The belt hook works great, but the clip doesn't work as well. When you clip to your waist band it has a tendency to slip off (not happy about this).

I mean, it doesn't look super cheap. It unfortunately doesn't stretch out as far as I was hoping it would, but it's still okay. I like that it has both the belt clip on the back and the hook clip.

Just got these yesterday and would be great except for one thing - the retractable cord is really just thin string and not super durable. Already, after 1 day of use, the string/cord has broken on 2 of them.If this could be improved, then these retractable badge/key fob holders would be great.

I've ordered two of these and each lasted for about 4 months before breaking. Specificaly the clip breaks off on them. They work great until they don't. Only saving grace is that there is also a mini-caribiner type of latch so that it is still usable even without the belt clip.

The snap doesn't stay snapped, and the reel gets stuck often. It's just a matter of time before breaks like the rest.

The string breaks after a while. That's why we purchased 5 all at one time.

while the zip cord worked great the little snap button never held. Tried to bend the snap to hold better but that only held for a day. Had to stop using for fear of losing badge. will need to replace clip to use it again.

The overall quality of the product is good but the snap doesnt fasten tight and at times it comes open.

Having an option to be able to clip this onto my keys and quickly take it off to clip onto my clothing was super handy. The top clip is nice and springy, and the clip on the back worked fine. I really loved this thing until the black part separated from the metal frame after a few months of light use, despite everything looking pretty sturdy at first.

the slide on slip part should be tighter. It slips off of my scrubs when I try to swipe my badge at locked doors (with a slight lateral pull).

Works good. Not enough tension for this card holder part: 1840-3081 (w/cards & badge). I need tohelp it back up so we will see how long it lasts.

Worked great, long reach. I like having both the carbiner and the clip, although the carbiner was a little small for my belt loop. I like that it came with both a snap for a badge holder and a keyring. I work in food service, so I need to keep both a card and key handy.Popped apart after about 4 months...
