What I really needed was a 35" waist, but no one seems to make one in a painter's pants, so had to go with the 36," which, of course, is too big. The issue I have, however, is with the length. I ordered a 32" and they were easily 33," which means I have to cuff them. Not ideal. So, perhaps anyone else buying these might consider that the length is on the long side and oner at least one inch shorter. Unless this was an anomaly.

Otherwise, Dickies makes a good painter's pants and this is the first time I bought the double knee protection because invariably, we do spend a lot of our time on the floor cutting in baseboard, etc. and the knees always wear out first.
