It did the job! And I love that you can twist the wire to be compact and that it has a bag to store it in! It did snag easily, which is why I'm only giving it 4/5.

Bought it not for placing over a bed sleeping area, but cut into pieces in order to cover windows of my car while car camping. Worked well - held against car sides with magnets. Held up in a heavy rain. Kept out mosquitos for an uninterrupted night's sleep in my car. It is BIG! Plenty left over to give to another person for coverage over the sleeping area.

Kept the bugs off during a week at summer camp, and hanging it over the bed meant that you weren't getting tangled up in it all night. The only reason I deducted one star is that unless you can chose exactly where to position the loop, it doesn't quite reach the foot of a 76" cot. Contrary to what some have said, it is fairly easy to get back in the stuff sack; just grab the loop and twist, and it compresses nicely.

I'm a beach bum. I go to the beach everyday if it's not raining. I wanted a net to drape over my beach tent to keep the flies and mosquito's out. This is a very nice net but I'm a little disappointed that there is no opening to get in and out. Instead you have to lift it from the bottom. Otherwise, as I said, it's a great net and serves it's purpose.

Arrived in great condition from the seller, certainly no faults there. My only problem (and it's not too big a deal for me) with this net is that especially small mosquitoes and insects are able to get in through the holes. The net still definitely significantly decreases the number of things that try to eat me alive at night but if you're looking for something to keep absolutely everything off, you'll want something with smaller holes.

The netting is pretty light weight and the canopy ring bends easily. The bag is nice. The amount of netting is generous. I have it hanging over a narrow metal day bed on my porch. I've been able to sleep there overnight on really hot nights and I have not been bothered by the bugs. I think it could tear pretty easily.

This is a net. For mosquitos, or rather, against them. Rock on.

Just received this today. I opened it & can't see to put it back in. I don't know how. Wish it would have came with instructions.. Besides that, everything seems okay & no rips/tears.

Got the job done. Helped me sleep worry free while traveling in mosquito infested areas. Had a small hole when I got it, therefore no 5 stars, but I could easily fix it myself.

Just what I needed for hammock cover so I can snooze in the backyard without being eaten alive.

The net covers a large area and is fairly sturdy. Lighter weight than regular mosquito netting. I used it outdoors on a weekend camping trip as a vestibule next to my car so that I could leave the door open without bugs getting in. The net got rained on and a little muddy on the bottom, but when it dried the dirt shook off easily. The ring at the top is about 24 inches when open. It's easy to fold up the net and fit it back into the bag. The bag itself is not as rugged as it looks in the photo. It's made of a lightweight, shreddy taffeta-like material. Mine actually had a hole in it where the seam had failed. I restitched the entire seam and was then able to use the bag.

The netting is lightweight and large enough to fit around a queen-size bed. The holes are small enough to keep out mosquitos, but not gnats or midges. It is easy to fold back into a fairly small package for travel. With the carrying case, it weighs 11.7 oz (330 g).

I've been itching to find a solution to my mosquito problems. I bought the Emergency Zone Canopy Mosquito Net looking an option. For added insurance I bought Sawyer Products Premium Permethrin Clothing Insect Repellent Trigger Spray to treat the net. Here is what I did...and the result.
In a small pale I soaked the net in 6 oz of the Permethrin product (plus about 4 oz of water for volume). Using water-tight gloves I worked the net through the solution thoroughly. Almost all of it was absorbed. I let the net air dry and gave it a test. To set a baseline I sat in the open and measured a bite rate of only one per minute (yes I counted, slapped, and timed). Then I sat in the chair under the net...for about 40 minutes reading. After only a few minutes into the experiment, I noticed I had a visitor. The white net background makes them must easier to track. Since I was waving her off my exposed skin, she was happy to land on the net and await better opportunities. I gently folded the net over her to form a trap-enclosure. It wasn't long until she wiggled through the net and was buzzing me again. We repeated this several times until she finally exited through the netting. Hmm. The Permethrin didn't seem to bother her a bit...and the net was negotiable. I had a total of 6 visitors in my 40 minute experiment. Four of them were able to negotiate their way through the net and repeatedly escape my single-layer net cocoons. One had a mysterious quivering end. By the sixth, I was tired of the experiment and squished her on the netting where I first noticed her...Only after did I realize how conspicuous blood stains would be on a pristine white netting. I should have thought that through a bit.
Conclusion. Though I had visitors and they are clearly able to get through the net when motivated, I don't think they were entering Through the net. Rather, I think they took advantage of the wind fluttering the bottom of the net. However, these were average sized mosquitoes. We have a mix of asian tigers, giant lawn darts, and some tiny things. My guess is the big ones would not have a chance and the tiny ones would be only inconvenienced by this net. However, since my bite-rate was cut from one/minute to zero in 40 minutes (since I could now track those few penetrators), I give it a 4/5.

Most of the mosquito nets are too large and bulky or too small for a double bed. This one is just right. The hoop easily expands for use and collapses to fit with the netting back in the nylon travel pouch.

I dunked it in a permethrin solution as this more than doubles its effectiveness with mosquitoes by killing the females that land on the netting so they don't get a second chance to get inside the netting. Soaking works much better than spraying and it is easier to do in a sink with a couple ounces of 10% permethrin added to two quarts of water.
