As a benz mechanic, their headlight clear coats doesn't last. After wet sanding and polishing, using this clear coat is the final touch that makes them look oem. Best tip I have is to fill a container of every warn but not hot water, please the coating in the container for about 5 mins to warm it up to reduce orange peel. e wet sanding and polishing, using this clear coat is the final touch that makes them look oem. Admittedly, I followed a couple of additional steps suggested by some YouTubers. I did a wet sand with 400 then 2000 grit sandpaper. After that, I followed the steps on the package. To be honest, after the 1st step on the package (the cleaning solution and pad) the headlights didn't look that great. However, after the 2nd step (headlight coating) they looked amazing, almost brand-new!

It is easy to apply and looking good. Just be careful and do not spray too much. Will see. how long it would last.

I used this product on my Town and Country December 12/28/2021 after using a combination of 3M's headlight restoration kit and doing a little extra sanding and polishing outside of the kit. After polishing, I coated the lights with 3 total coats of the protectant spray on each headlight. The first coat went on spotless without any orange peel, I only waited about 30mins between coats and I didn't let it fully cure. If I could change one thing, I would have let it fully cure in between coats which may have prevented the orange peel look that you see in the pictures. The first two pics you see are before the polishing and the last two pics in the album are with they look like today (02/12/2023).I live in SE Virginia (757) so we see all types of weather from snow, 100 degree weather, and a lot of rain. My van stays outside in all of these conditions, I go through car washes at least twice a month and probably have put 15K miles on my van since Ive done the refurbishment. So far I am impressed with the spray and how it has held up. One last protective measure I would have dont would be to put a 3M protective film over the headlights after letting the spray cure to give it another layer of protection from stones, debris, salt spray, and UV lights. I did this to my Mercedes (2012) and before I sold it the lights looked great for a 10 year old car.Hope this helps!

Ok - I was skeptical of this actually working as noted. I was incredibly surprised on how easy and how well this works. Had an 18 year old Toyota Celica that had spent all of its life in our garage, but the headlights were so clouded I could hardly see the headlight beam at night. I followed the directions and when finished there was ZERO cloudiness left. It has been 8 months since I did the treatment and is still the same as the day I did the treatment. I have also done this for a sister in law on her Lexus and it did the same great job. Will definitely purchase again as needed.

This stuff is great been using it for 4 year now. It usually will keep headlamps clear for a year or more. Each can is usually good for 4 pairs of headlamps or more.

I had used a 2000/2500 grit wet sandpaper and then a headlight restoration compound to get my headlights rid of most of their haziness. I was not sure about the longevity of that work so I took a chance on this Keep Clear coating just as a preservative measure. I did not expect it to clear up the remaining hazy streaks that were there! My headlights look mint now.

I was skeptical after step one that this product would work. I'm sorry I didn't take a before picture but my entire headlight was cloudy yellow. I applied step 1 and wiped off (took 3-4 minutes per light) then I sprayed it. I allowed to completely dry over night in garage and this is the finished result. Be in ventilated area when spraying because the spray is strong and lingers.

First time user, so not sure how it will hold up. I'm super happy with the results now though!! Literally the hardest part was taping off the paint and chrome around the lights. Fast and easy, and really made the final results pop. I sanded and polished the lenses first using a rotary sander with 3” discs. And they looked good, but I knew they wouldn't last very long if I didn't also seal them. So I gave this a try, and it made the end result even better! Super glossy and crisp. I've had multiple people say they look brand new again! The middle picture is before the sealant, after polishing. Third pic is final result with sealant.

I had my headlights buffed out by Waart over a year ago. They looked brand new, but the buffing took off the protective coating so I got this andMeguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner Polish and Meguiar's Clear Headlight CoatingAbout every 6 months (once in spring then again just before winter, usually in October) I clean the headlights. Then use the Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner Polish (as directed) polish them. Once I'm done I apply the Meguiar's Clear Headlight Coating spray (as directed) 2 coatings. And my headlights still look brand new! What also might be helping is I swapped out my old Halogen head lights bulbs for LED headlight bulbs. The LEDs don't generate as much heat so they don't destroy the plastic from the inside-out as well.

Rubbing compound is not very good, the clear coating nozzle is not good at all does not spray very evenly, over all over all it works but can be much better

You have to be careful not to spray it too heavily. I did pretty good and I hope it will last a year.
