So very happy with this!! I've wanted one for years, my mixer is getting too heavy/bulky for me to keep getting in and out of the cabinet. Fortunately, my hubby is pretty handy and this installed with minimal cursing... most of it stemmed from him dropping the screws!!!

I love this mixer storage shelf. I have several counter appliances and I had rather store them instead of having them all out on my counters. My Kitchenaid mixer was too heavy to take in and out of my cabinets each time I use it, so this was a perfect solution. The shelf/rack is very easy to lift and the mixer stays on this shelf while using. When you let it down the weight of the mixer makes the shelf lower on its own slowly. It is NOT easy to install if your cabinet has a drawer at the top. It took several adjustments and moving the hardware rails around to finally keep from hitting or where it would properly lock. We've bought many other cabinet shelves and this one was by far the hardest to install. No regrets, the final product was well worth the installation difficulties.

Absolutely amazing. It operates smoothly. I had to build a cabinet within the cabinet (installed in a 48 inch wide lower cabinet with drawers. After building the interior box (to add walls to the middle of the wide cabinet, I mounted it at a 12 degree angle so it worked correctly with my drawer cabinet. Had to create a 12 degree mounting block for under the platform (to counter act the 12 degree mounting angle within the cabinet). When all was said and done I placed the appliance and wow - simple and perfect.

It was a little more difficult to install than I expected. I had to create a shim for each side to clear my cabinet. But once it was installed it worked great. The movement is very smooth even with a very heavy kitchen aide mixer on it. Very easy to operate too. My wife is very pleased.
