The top of this holder, the silver piece, does not fit snugly on and tends to want to pop off. The rubber gasket seems a little too large to fit the glass piece. I really like the look of the piece overall, so I kept it, and might try to trim the rubber gasket down. It's very easy to clean, heavy weight and has a classy look.

I am very happy I purchased this toothbrush holder. I was having a problem with rust on the toothbrush holder in my master bathroom, so I decided to try this one because other toothbrush holders I purchased with chrome on them always rusted over time and I was hoping a better-made toothbrush holder would solve that problem, time will tell. In the meantime, I love this toothbrush holder. It makes the bathroom look so elegant. The glass is very heavy and the cut glass is beautiful and it adds a touch of elegance to a functional and mundane item. I can see this will be very easy to keep clean because all it requires is a dip in soapy, hot water. I recommend this toothbrush holder.

We have two bathrooms; one I get to decorate, one my bf gets to decorate. Let's just say my bathroom is way more fancy with the addition of this and the matching drinking glass I have purchased.Item is heavy and high quality, sparkles when light hits it, and just makes me smile.
