I'm 5'10" 205 lbs, size XL was a good fit. This is not a loose fitting jacket but I can wear a hooded sweatshirt under it on extra cold days. Make no mistake, this is a warm jacket on it's own but a hooded sweatshirt under the jacket when temps are between 10 and 20 makes a great combo. You cannot beat this jacket for the price anywhere, I did tons of research before buying. The liner is not removable and that is a bummer but the price jump for a removable liner wasn't worth it to me.
