I have a 3 year old black headed caique. He loves his sunflower seeds and most of the fruit blend that I buy him. I decided to try this for variety. At first he just looked at it and dug around for some sunflower seeds. It took a couple of days , but now he eats this before his fruit blend feed. I'm glad he's getting a more varied diet now.

My Severe Macaw would never eat pellets for over 15 years. Now I sprinkle a blend of ZuPreem fruitblend along with the ZuPreem pure fun over his seed and he prefers the pellets. Didn't happen overnight but he enjoys the pellets.

My birds are on a pellet diet and love this so much so I have to be careful how much to give. I usually mix two bags of pellets and one bag of this in a 10 pound storage container with lid. Don't forget fresh fruit and veggies too!

I use this blend as a side dish or a topper for other foods. It is distracting and colorful, which may or may not play into the desirability factor for the bird but it does offer variety. The birds seem to like it. It is pricey but it avoids the boredom factor for my guys and that adds some intrinsic value.

The mixture of millet, seeds, fruit, and pellets is perfect! I always add pepitas, more banana chips, and coconut to expand the nutrient profile for my Greys. This is the best 'base' for my birds' nutrition.
