My lovebirds are seed junkies...but they will eat these pellets mixed into their diets. I think they like the color and I'm guessing the flavor as one only eats red and green ones and the other only seems to eat the reds. They tolerate the oranges. I'm constantly left with a dish full of the yellows haha.They would NOT eat any of the other pellet brands that I tried, so I'm grateful that this brand makes them semi happy :)

I bought this pellets because it says that the parakeets need to eat pellets. I bought this it was a waste of money. My birds looked at it and turned their heads and will not eat it.

I'm working on getting my bourke parakeet to eat these pellets, and sometimes it seems she is eating them, other time she just seems to be playing with her food (lots of the pellets end up on the cage floor.) We'll keep working on it. I had an easier time switching my parrots over to a mixed pellet/seed diet. Also working on my bourke to get her to eat fresh foods. So, a work in progress.

Pellets are the perfect size for parakeet and cockatiels. They really love it and this is the first pellet food they've taken a liking to. I've been buying it faithfully for years! I wish the larger bags weren't so expensive though :(
