Zoo Med Laboratories SZMBU10 Natural Bushy Mexican Phyllo, SmallFirstly these (Mexican Phyllo and I believe most if not all of the others in this line) are 100 plastic, not silk with a plastic coating. In my opinion the silk plants may look a bit better or slightly more real sometimes, but 100 plastic is easier to clean, especially ones that are smooth, like phyllo. Spray with some cleaner then rinse and poop or whatnot generally just rinses right off. Silk plants have a bit more texture for the poop to stick to and more often need some rubbing. And the easier my terrariums are to keep clean and sanitary the more I enjoy them. And as far as plastic plants go these do look good.As far as size goes, one small vine (about 12 tall) is perfect to fill out just a single corner in a 10, 15 or maybe 20 gallon tank - any that are around 12 tall - and expect they are generally 3x as fat at the top (literally 3 vine strands) and thinner (just a single longest vine strand) on the lower 1/3. They look natural that way but keep it in mind if you want a lot of vegetation you'll want more than one. And if you have a tall terrarium and want it to reach top to bottom either you'll need one of the larger sizes or you'll need to layer small ones. The Medium and Large have progressively more individual vine strands, but still more shorter ones and a single longest one so they are thicker at the top. If you wanted something equally thick from top to bottom, like you were trying to create a solid even wall of greenery, you could get a medium or large and trim off the bottom 1/3 and you'd essentially have a small or medium height one that was just as thick at the bottom as it is on top. Also worth noting the leaves on the phyllos are just a bit over an inch long and about as wide as a nickel. So not large leaves if that's what you're looking for.And a single small isn't much as far as climbing structure unless you have something like a tiny baby anole or dime sized or smaller little frogs or something. These in general are better suited for adding a bit of hanging (or laying) cover to help your critter feel secure. Also these have no wire inside to wrap them around climber vines or other structure, they are strictly hanging (or laying) style. I've never had any smell issues with these and they are reasonably durable for what they are.As long as you understand what these are and that is in fact what you're looking for I can't see being unhappy with these. These are my go-to for this use case.
