We try to only use fresh insects and produce for our beardy. But every once in awhile, things (weekends, holidays, laziness) keep us from running to the pet store for live insects.I would say there are about 3-4 dozen crickets per can. I normally will feed him 1 dozen on days we don't have live food. He absolutely goes nuts for these. Plus, I've noticed his bowel movements are healthy and consistent still.

I have 1 1/2 year old bearded dragon. She loves them. So much easier than live crickets! I would highly recommend these. Make sure you refrigerate after you open them or they will go bad and smell horrible.

My bearded dragon is an odd duck. He is afraid of crickets and will not eat them. He only eats hornworms, meal worms....the fatty bugs. However, he will eat these!

This can definitely makes my life easier. I don't need to go to pet store to purchase live bugs. For my beardie, one can she can eat 3-4 days. She is eating like a pig now. Comparing to the other brand, I purchased both of them initially, and I stayed with this one. The other one stinks, it is cheaper but it stinks a lot after the second day, I had to threw them all.

These are large. Very expensive compared to just buying live crickets however the biggest issue is my dragon refuses to even try them.
