Nice wrench and made by people in the US who pay into the same tax system that I do. I use it to do light automotive work like changing oil. The action is smooth and aesthetically it's perfect. The chrome finish is totally unaffected by my use of a framing hammer on the handle to break bolts loose, instead of using a breaker bar. Great product. I plan to buy more from Wright tool.

I have not given the tool enough use to rate it performance-wise, which is only reason I withheld one star. The machining, polishing and chrome plating look good.

For the money i don't think this can be beat. I have a crapsman and a snap on ratchet and this is almost as smooth as the snap on. Only used a few times so time will tell. Ratchet action sounds rough but feels smooth. When you push hard to loosen or tighten you can feel it tighten up. Ive put about 60 ft lbs on it so far.

I absoltuley abuse my tools. This ratchet is bullet proof! And very sexy and smooth in the hand. I love my SK 3/834; and abuse it just as much . . . . . but i find myself abusing this one more just because it feels so good in my hand. I work on airplanes for a living. I broke down and bought a second one for home cause i like the feel of it so much.

I've used many different ratchets. Armstrong Maxx 88 tooth, Matco 88 Tooth, (both are pretty much the same, just different looking cosmetically.) SK pro ratchet, older 36 tooth Craftsman, and 36 tooth Armstrong, USA Williams, the list goes on... Anyways, the Wright is definitely my favorite. 41 teeth, but with dual pawls it has 92 tooth action. I do like the lever to change direction on teardrop shaped ratchets, but it's not hard to change direction on this round head. Plus direction levers on teardrops can somtimes be bumped on accident, or get caught damaging them. The head is thinner than a SK professional ratchet. But thicker than the the Armstrong maxx, or Matco. It has good heft to it, and is well built. The best part is probably the handle. The contour grip really does fit your hand well when squeezed. It's the most comfortable, (IMO) of any ratchet, bar none. That, and being made in Baberton, Ohio, USA, this is a great ratchet. If you turn wrenches for a living, or are just a do-it yourselfer who likes good American tools, you should definitely give this ratchet a look.
