I wanted a simple budget wise night stand for my guest room and this fits the bill. I do feel it needs a better brace in the bottom shelf. If I plan to store anything on that bottom shelf I will do something to make it stronger. I did not have any trouble putting it together and all screw holes lined up perfect. It is made with pressed wood laminate on the sides, and real wood top and corners, but looks great between my twin beds!

I was very hesitant about making this purchase expecting the worst after reading the reviews. I am so glad I went ahead and ordered despite the negatives. My table was perfect and my husband put it together in about 30 minutes. I wasn't expecting HIGH quality for this price but it looks great in my living room and works for me!
