Looks good! It's a turntable for a cake dome that had an old Wilton lazy susan that broke. Came fully assembled.

Super easy to store and to use. Really easy to clean!

Poor quality plastic. Does not turn smoothly, bumps up and down. Not fit for purpose.

Great turntable but I do worry that it is not sturdy enough for the rigours of cake decorating. Needs a weight inside so it sits still on your countertop.

She totally loves it, makes her feel like a professional and doesn't take up too much room in her Manhattan kitchen!

Given the new obsession with baking in the UK since the Great Bake Off, this is an affordable and nicely made turntable, but it could do with feeling a little more sturdier, but for the money, I think this is more than suitable for the job!<br /><br />Ideal for the cake baker in your life and let's face it which guy doesn't like a cake made for him! I know I do!<br /><br />It's easy to clean after use, so that's a big plus!<br /><br />The turn action is easy, so there's nothing to dislike, the sturdiness is me being a bit picky!

This is a really cheap looking, plasticky product, which seems greatly over priced. On the plus side, the turntable does actually turn, but it needs to be higher up for ease of use. It doesn't look very nice either, so i would certainly want to remove the cake from this before serving, to put it on a nicer plate. It's okay to see if it's going to be something you might be interested in, but you would probably want to get something nicer if you were.

Wilton Cake Decorating Turntable, White, 30.48 x 30.48 x 3.3 cm is a good item to have if you like to bake and decorate your own cakes etc. This is a flat turntable therefore if you put a large cake or even a cake which is full of fruit it will slow the turntable down, it will still turn but a lot slower than a turntable which has a stronger turntable which has the added extra height to it.<br />I like this turntable as it takes very little space in the cupboard or storage area plus it makes icing a cake a lot easier as there is no more getting my finger stuck in the icing while I try to turn the cake on a plate. This is excellent value and so handy to have even if you like to ice plainly or with elaborate style, this turntable will make it so much easier and quicker.<br />Happy to recommend.

This is a straight forward turntable that makes it easier to decorate cakes. It works as it should and the bearings are smooth. It is lightweight and made of plastic and so doesn't feel as durable as it might. But it does perform the job for which it is made well.

Sound useful item that is exactly what it says: a starter turntable to begin practising those finishing touches that make a cake into something spectacular. It's sturdy, clear and basic, but I can't see it lasting the committed baker for ever: sooner or later you're going to need more professional and larger turntable. This however is a great starting point and is good value at the price.

This plastic cake decorating turntable works well. It does not run particularly smoothly but certainly well enough for decorating a cake.<br /><br />The turntable can only be wiped down rather than submerged to wash which is a bit of a nuisance.

There is no disputing that whilst this is an incredibly simple idea, it clearly has great potential. It's not very often that I attempt to ice a cake however, when I do, the results generally aren't that great (partly due to my poor icing skills but also because of the constant rotations of the cake).<br /><br />This should help to resolve that problem to some extent (although, not my poor skills), given that the cake can be rotated in a constant and smooth motion, rather than in several jerky movements. It is suitable for all cakes up to 12 inches in diameter and whilst the ideal type of cake would be a round cake, it is feasible that it could also be used with square cakes (and arguably other shapes as well).<br /><br />The one thing that lets it down in my view is the fact that it is not dishwasher safe and indeed, cannot be submerged in water at all (presumably due to the presence of the metal bearings). However, the combination of icing and cake generally does become quite messy and so it's certainly not the easiest to clean without dropping it in the sink!<br /><br />Overall, it's a very simple design which certainly makes icing of cakes a lot easier - if only it were easier to clean!

I have never used a cake turntable before, but suspect, from a little research, that this is more suitable for beginners, such as myself, than those bakers who have more advanced projects planned. There is no stand and the turntable stands close to the counter top. This didn't wobble with the cupcakes I was decorating, with my daughter, but I suspect it might not move as smoothly with a very heavy cake. I did place a heavier, fruit cake, on the stand and, as I suspected, it was not quite as smooth.<br /><br />You can take this apart if you need to do a deep clean and, otherwise, it is easy enough to clean. My daughter is a keen baker and this is just the right height for her, although I would probably have preferred something a little higher. Overall, ideal for the amateur baker and perfect if baking with children - although younger children will probably be keener to whizz the base round and forget the cake decorating!

This table is great for icing small items, such as cupcakes and small cakes. However, for larger cakes it is not high enough or stable enough to allow ease in rotation. It is easy to clean and convenient for small projects, but not so much for larger ones. Depending on your main purpose for this table will depend on if this particular product is right for you.

I am not the world's best decorator, but I was looking forward to trying out this turntable to make my cake icing go more smoothly. Well, it works fine (if a bit noisy), it adheres well to surfaces and it's easy to clean up afterwards, but it's not particularly well made or durable. I wouldn't want to do a larger or heavier cake on this, don't think it would stand up to it - literally!
