Wilton 2104-0240 Master Cake Decorating Piping Tips Set, 55-Piece Cake and Cupcake Decorating Set

This set comes with 2 standard size couplers, but 8 of the tips included require a larger sized coupler. It would have been sensible to include one standard and one large coupler in the set. Now I have to find a larger coupler to order separately, which is annoying, especially considering that this set is relatively expensive compared to other brands. It should have been included. The tips all look very nice and I like the storage box.

I waited until these inevitably went on sale. Nice tips and great for beginners

Wilton never disappoint…but I took away a star because it shipped in the original package and the box was so damaged in the shipping process that I not surprised the case wasn’t bursted. Should have been placed in a box for shipping. But other than I can’t wait to start using these tips.

I kept looking for an image of the cased in a closed position. There are 7 pegs in the case that don't fit the 7 larger tips. So, if you stand the tips up, the case doesn't close. The larger tips lay in the front section of the case, one inside the other. If you pull the large tips apart to use or just to look at, it may be a 'puzzle' to make them fit together again. If you need extra small tips, there is space, but wish the case would have been made deeper to hold the larger tips standing up like the rest of them. Haven't used yet, still deciding. Not that impressed with tip designs.

But it's missing the #4 piping tip. Mine came with 2 #3 tips.

I want to start by saying that the only reason I am giving this set 4 stars instead of 5 is because part of the set includes 8 jumbo tips yet they could not be bothered including a coupler that fits a jumbo tip! They give you 2 couplers and those are both for the standard size tips.<br /><br />I can only ding one star though because you get a great variety of tips with some of the same designs but in different sizes so you pretty much have what you need to do some gorgeous decorating. Adding the 2 flower nails is a great bonus too.<br /><br />I don't know if this set is always such a good value but I do think it was a great value. I purchased one of the Wilton Cases for decorating supplies so I am transferring the tips into the case but if I didn't have it, the carry case that this comes with is really nice too and would be very easy to work with. I actually might keep it if I want to choose the tips I will use, transfer to that tray and have that on my work surface to grab the tip I want.<br /><br />Overall very happy - just disappointed that I had to purchase the large couplers to truly complete the set.
