They keep disappearing, because they work better to grip bolt heads. Harder material can shatter.

This is by far the superior version compared to the newer models, they use a weaker material with the newer models (the colored rubber wrapped ones.) Even the 1.5mm will bend at crazy angles before snapping the tip off, never buying a different set other than this one.

Fit and finish on these are perfect. Love the holder they come with, really nice and compact. Best L key's I've ever owned. Went ahead and bought the metric set as well. All the tools I've bought from Wera have been great, especially on sale!

Most hex keys seem to have about a 4 to 1 ration to the main shaft length to short leg. These are more like 6 to 1. Great if you need to apply some torque to the fastener. No real downside unless clearance is an issue, I was just surprised. I like Wera stuff.

Ive had them all. From Craftsman, Eklind, Bondhus, Wiha, and others. THESE ARE THE BEST....hands down. And at just over 10 bucks (daily deal) for the set you can't go wrong. I have 3 sets so I have a lifetime supply. Even ordered a set for my buddy. Im constantly working on my Japanese/English motorcycles which contain loads of metric hex and these are perfect.

Outstanding tool by Wera made in the Check Republic. I still consider this German quality or at least German design. Easy to get in and out of the holder and great engagement with the hex bolts. Use it primarily on my bicycles but great also for any other jobs.

The quality is as expected for this brand. The holder is nice quality too. It opens with ease, not like the hard plastic. Removing from the holder is great. Snug fit.

Quality hex set but this thing is MASSIVE! Because its so big it can fit in tighter spaces. Its well made and very heavy. Overall quality tool just big.

I needed Hex Plus but didn't need or want the color-coded coatings/sleeves. These are easier to get in tight spaces and do the job. Tolerances are super tight and rounded hex sockets are a thing of the past.

Perfect companion for an electric scooter or bike. Compared to the cheap ones thats all over the place, these fit in the screw heads much better and really reduces the risk of stripping the head due to a hex key thats just a little too small. There's a little flex but its still much stiffer than the cheap ones.

I've used these for a few months at work and have no complaints to note. I have 4 sets of Wera hex keys altogether and none of them have had any issues. They grip on the fastener excellent, show no signs of rounding, and seem to be up to par with all the other Wera stuff. I love this brand! Can't recommend these enough if you're going to be using them often.
