Unfortunately, I purchased a pack of 6 without realizing that 34;fragrance34; was an inactive ingredient. My son has very bad eczema and although the front label says hypoallergenic, we are afraid to use this product on him. Luckily, we have many mom friends who will benefit from my oversight.

This product is scented to buyer beware. We use this because my son gets really bad diaper rash from his sensitive skin and this being scented made his rash worse.

I totally agree with you. When I bought this product, I did so solely because it branded itself as 100 PURE - 3x purified - purity guaranteed. Well it is impossible for vaseline to be pure when fragrances has been added to it. It is a very clever marketing scheme on their part as they know most people buy vaseline because it is usually fragrance free, and those who do so but received this item would have had to dump it in the garbage bin, and then bought another vaseline hoping that one is like the original which is fragrance free and pure. Companies know that adding fragrance to any product, especially one that usually does not have fragrance will induce extra shopping on the part of the duped customers who would discard the product and get a replacement at their expense instead of at the companies expense. This is social engineering. A tainted product sometimes brings in more money then pure product. VERY CLEVER!
