A few months after we purchased this rice cooker, the lid was not shutting properly. We sent it back for repair. It worked for a few months. Now, the same problem again, the lid is not shutting properly. We purchased it last June 2023. Not even a year of usage and it's still defective. We have used a Tiger brand before and never had this problem. It lasted 6 years . Must be a bad batch.

Lightly use it said good condition. I received the cooker and the bottom was completely melted / electrical hazard.

I like it

Owned for about 8 years. Boxed up and put away for 6 years. A relative gave me an Aroma multi-cooker. It is NOT messy. Today I pulled out the Tiger because the Aroma was in use. The Tiger made another mess, so I am here. It is so tedious to clean the Tiger, I may put it away for another 6 years. The Aroma is excellent for steaming veggies, too. The Tiger is only good for making rice messes. If you catch the early eruption, the Tiger will settle down a lot. I use a paper towel for that. It is a bad design.

Excellent product. I decided to get this because I grew up using this brand and everyone I know had this. I don’t know anyone who has told me that it has broken. I think this is a one time purchase and will never have to buy another one ever again. I’ve been using this almost every day, atleast 100 times already and still going strong.

I owned this rice cooker since i was 6 and im 33 now. its always worked being used at least 4-6 times a week in those years. for all the people giving this 3 stars or below, generally its user error.

Great rice cooker. Love it. Only way to make rice now

Bought the rice cooker on 10/20/21. It worked great for almost 2 months and it started making a mess. Bubbles up through the veil and it making the lid super dirty including the surrounding area. The steam water doesn’t being collected so it water down every time i open the lid. First I thought the veil probably was plugged so I took the lid a part and cleaned them but it still didn’t solve the problem unfortunately. I emailed the customer they emailed me back forth a few times tried to convince me that it was normal. I sent them the pictures they said they couldn’t see it clear. Im Asian I grow up with a rice cooker so I know how it supposed to work. My parents used the same one for years but they bought at the store it still working just fine. They have never had to clean the lid either. Anyway after trying to convince me that it’s normal to have water bubbles up throughout the veil is normal they told me to contact the corporation customer service which I did. I emailed them and no response. I called them it immediately sent to the mailbox. Bottom up, save your money don’t buy it online.
