I loved the original and it was getting really hard to find. Since this is supposedly the “updated” version, and I really missed the original, I decided to try it. The reviews say it smells just like the original. (I also agree that it's a very light scent and doesn't seem to last long, but it's such a nice scent, I don't mind adding morea lotion would be useful for extending the scent.) This makes me happy since I loved the clean green scent of the originalperfect especially in summer.I have to ask, though: everyone seems to have loved the original, the first thing they seem to say is that this new scent smells just like the originalwhy make a “new” version? Seems that the original one was extremely popular and a success (though I always had trouble finding it), so why reinvent a remarkably terrific wheel?!I'm, frankly, just happy that it's not discontinued and I don't care what it's called, I'm delighted to be able to buy this scent again. It just seems that all too often companies feel the need to mess with something terrific. Then, often what happens is that customers give up on the first product, replace it with something else, and then the original company says ‘oh well, it wasn't popular, so we won't make it anymore.' When really, that's not the case, it's just that we poor customers couldn't find the product we loved and finally admitted defeat and moved on.I hope Mugler parfums won't make that error. Keep making it and give the “new” scent time, publicize it as smelling like Thierry Mugler Cologne eau de toilettefrom what I'm seeing in customer reviews, it will fly off shelves in stores!
