Owed a Trangia stove kit for years. Stopped using the aluminum pans many years ago and added another stainless brand to the kit. Was actually looking for an alternate fuel source for my Trangia and stumbled on this stainless compressed set.Car camping and emergency use. I would not recommend for backpacking due to weight.Good to have 2 burners for emergency use or car camping. One to setup with alcohol burner for water boiling and one isobutane burner with 220 for cooking. Perch these babes on my Alps camp table and food happens. Prefer this setup to my Everest propane stove.

This is my second Trangia 25 cook set. My first one was the standard aluminum set that I bought over ten years ago. It still works like a champ. I only purchased a second one to have an additional burner/set while on camping trips With my wife. These stoves are awesome. No seals or gaskets to go bad and no need for expensive proprietary gas canisters. Denatured alcohol can be purchased easily and is readily available at hardware stores. In a pinch you can even use raw vodka or moonshine. These also would be great stoves for emergency preparedness at home because of there reliability. Originally standard issue for Swiss military.
